What you get

The five applications that cover almost all office work: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote. One PC, activated permanently, paid for once.

The only difference with Professional Plus

Access. That is the entire gap between this edition and Office LTSC 2024 Professional Plus, which costs ten dollars more. Same Word, same Excel, same support window to October 2029, same offline behaviour. If you have never opened Access and cannot name something you would build in it, this is your edition.

Who it suits

Students writing dissertations. Freelancers invoicing in Excel. Teachers building slide decks. Small offices that need Outlook on a shared machine. None of them touch a database, and none of them should pay for one.

Worth knowing before you decide: Microsoft 365 asks for a recurring payment on an international card, which rules it out for a lot of people. This licence takes one payment from your mobile wallet and then leaves you alone.

Installation and activation

1. Remove any older Office version. Leaving one in place makes the install fail.
2. Download the suite from the link sent with your key.
3. Launch Word, open Account, enter the product key.

Runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with 4 GB of RAM and 4 GB of free space. Once activated it works offline, which is the point of the LTSC channel: the feature set never changes, and you get five years of security fixes instead of a stream of new buttons.

Paying without a credit card

This is the part that blocks most of our customers. International platforms want a Visa or Mastercard, and plenty of people across Africa do not have one. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet you already use, straight from your phone.

We accept MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Wave, M-Pesa, Telecel Cash, AT Money, Free Money, Vodacom, Tigo and Halotel, depending on where you are. Fourteen countries are covered: Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Congo, DR Congo and Sierra Leone. PayPal and card payments work everywhere else.

Is Access included?

No. Access comes with Professional Plus only.

Does the licence expire?

The licence is permanent. Microsoft’s security updates run until October 2029.

Yes, everything from previous Office versions opens normally.
