What this licence is for

Most people who buy this key already have Windows 10 installed. Someone set the machine up years ago, skipped the activation step, and the PC has carried a watermark ever since. This key clears that in about a minute. No reinstall, no lost files.

What an unactivated Windows actually blocks

The system keeps working, which is why so many people just live with it. What you lose sounds minor until you run into it.

• A permanent “Activate Windows” watermark in the bottom right, which follows you into screenshots and screen shares.
• Personalisation locked out. No wallpaper change, no accent colour, no theme, no dark mode.
• Reminders that interrupt whatever you were doing.
• Microsoft can withhold some updates from unactivated systems.

If you present in meetings or hand in work with screenshots, the watermark alone justifies the price.

Where Windows 10 stands today

Microsoft has stopped issuing security patches for Windows 10, and activating the system does not change that. We would rather say so here than let you discover it afterwards.

So the honest comparison is this. Windows 11 Home costs seven dollars more than this licence, and Microsoft still patches it. This key is the right buy when the computer cannot make the jump, or when you want the PC in order while you save for a newer one.

How to activate

1. Open Settings, then Update and Security, then Activation.
2. Choose “Change product key” and enter the key from your email.
3. Wait for the confirmation. The watermark disappears by itself.

Nothing to download, nothing to reinstall. If the activation is refused, message us on WhatsApp and we sort it out.

Home covers everyday use. Take Windows 10 Pro only if you need BitLocker encryption or Remote Desktop hosting.

Does activation bring the security updates back?

No. Support for Windows 10 ended for everyone, activated or not.
