What this is, and what it is not

You receive the login and password to a Spotify account that already carries twelve months of Premium. This is not a code and it cannot be applied to the Spotify account you use today. Your playlists, your followers and your Wrapped history stay on your old account and do not come across.

Read that twice before ordering, because it is the single thing people get wrong. If keeping your own account matters more than the price, do not buy this. Subscribing to Spotify directly keeps everything where it is, and we would rather say so than take an order you will regret.

What you get

• No ads, on music and between tracks
• Play any track on demand instead of shuffle
• Offline downloads, up to 10,000 songs per device across five devices
• Unlimited skips
• Streaming at 320 kbps, which Spotify calls Very High quality
• Spotify Connect, so you can push playback to a speaker or a TV

The limits, stated plainly

• One stream at a time. This is an individual plan. Two people cannot listen on it at once.
• No Family and no Duo. Those plans cannot be set up on an account bought this way.
• Do not change the country setting. The account was created in a particular region and changing that can change the plan or end it. Nothing else about the account needs touching.
• Ask us before changing the password or the email. On some accounts that breaks the subscription, and it costs you one message to find out which kind yours is.
• Spotify does not allow accounts to be sold or transferred. An account can be reclaimed, and nobody selling these can promise you otherwise. We are not going to pretend we can.

Podcasts, by the way, are free on Spotify. You will see them listed as a Premium feature elsewhere and that is not true, so they are not a reason to buy this.

How an order runs

1. Pay with your mobile wallet. The price shows in your local currency.
2. We send the login and password, within five minutes and at most two hours.
3. Sign out of Spotify on your phone, sign in with the new details, and Premium is already active.

Treat that password as belonging to a shared piece of paper rather than to you. Do not reuse it anywhere else, and do not put payment details or personal information into the account.

What we commit to, and what we do not

We do not promise a replacement or a refund if the subscription stops before the twelve months are up. If yours does, message us on WhatsApp and we will look at it, as goodwill rather than as a guarantee. Calling it a guarantee would be dishonest on an account we do not control.

Paying without a credit card

Spotify wants a card that takes international payments, and plenty of people across Africa do not have one. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet already on your phone.

We accept MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Wave, M-Pesa, Telecel Cash, AT Money, Free Money, Vodacom, Tigo and Halotel, depending on where you are. Fourteen countries are covered, and PayPal and card payments work everywhere else. Pick your country at checkout and you only see the wallets that work there.
