What the Premium adds

The full base game plus everything the other two editions offer, and the part only this edition has:

• Two post-launch expansions, each adding a new location, new cars and new gameplay
• The Italian Passion and Time Attack car packs
• The Car Pass: 30 cars, released one per week
• The Welcome Pack: five specially tuned cars and three clothing tickets
• VIP Membership: double credits on race rewards, three Forza Edition cars, a weekly bonus Super Wheelspin, vanity items, and a house in the Tokyo suburbs

The expansions are the reason to choose this edition. Everything else on the list is cars and credits, which you would eventually earn anyway. The expansions are new places to drive, and no amount of playing unlocks them.

About that early access

The Premium Edition came with up to four days of early access before launch. That window is closed and nobody can sell it to you now, whatever a product page elsewhere still claims. If a shop is offering you early access to a game that came out months ago, ask yourself what else they are not telling you.

Everything else on the list above is still part of the edition and comes with the account today.

Read this before you order

Forza Horizon 6 needs 167 GB free, and it has to be on an SSD. A mechanical hard drive is not enough, that is the publisher’s requirement rather than a recommendation. The two expansions add to that figure once they install.

The game needs a connection for the first launch, to verify the licence and pull down its settings.

Playing without a steady connection

The single-player campaign works offline once the game has launched the first time. The seasonal Festival Playlist, co-op racing, online free roam and community content all need you online.

This edition carries the most downloadable content of the three, and on PC that content checks in occasionally to confirm you own it. A machine that is almost never online will struggle to keep the expansions and car packs available, which makes this the wrong edition for a permanently offline setup. The Standard Edition handles that situation better.

What you receive

Login details for a Steam account holding Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition, emailed once payment clears. Usually five minutes, two hours at the worst. Install Steam, sign in, download.

Being clear about the format: this is an account that holds the game, not a key you add to your existing Steam library. You play from this account. Tell us before ordering if that does not suit you.
