One thing to think about before you buy it
Those five weapons and the upgrade items are available from early in the game, and in a soulslike that cuts both ways.
If you want to try different weapon types without grinding for them, it is convenient. If the reason you play these games is the slow climb from underpowered to capable, handing yourself a full arsenal in the first hours removes part of what you came for.
Plenty of players finish their first run on the Standard Edition and are glad they did. Eight dollars separate the two, so this is a question of how you want to play rather than of money.
No subscription on top
WUCHANG is single-player, so PlayStation Plus is not required and the price on this page is the whole cost. The game runs offline once downloaded, and at 20 GB it is the lightest game we sell, so the download will not eat a month of data.
What you receive
Login details for a PlayStation Network account holding the Deluxe Edition, emailed once payment clears. Usually five minutes, two hours at the worst. No region lock.
How the account works
Change the password and the sign-in email the first time you log in. That is what puts the account under your sole control, and it takes two minutes.
Then enable console sharing and offline play, and the game runs on your own PSN profile with your trophies and saves intact.
Paying without a credit card
The PlayStation Store wants a card registered in the account’s country. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet you already use, straight from your phone.
We accept MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Wave, M-Pesa, Telecel Cash, AT Money, Free Money, Vodacom, Tigo and Halotel, depending on where you are. Fourteen countries are covered, and PayPal and card payments work everywhere else. Pick your country at checkout and you only see the wallets that work there, with the price in your local currency.
Common questions
Does the Deluxe make the game easier?
Somewhat, yes. Five weapons and two upgrade items early on shift the difficulty curve. Worth knowing before a first playthrough.
Is the story longer?
No. The main game is identical.
How much space does it need?
20 GB on the console, which is small for a current PS5 game.
Do I need PlayStation Plus?
No. This is a single-player game.
Is the account mine?
Yes. You change the password and the sign-in email on first login.
Can I play offline?
Yes, once the game has downloaded.
How do I pay without a bank card?
Pick your country and mobile wallet at checkout, then approve the payment on your phone.
