INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road PS4 & PS5 Standard Edition Global Account

Not a football simulation

Worth saying clearly, because people arrive expecting FIFA and find something else entirely. Inazuma Eleven is a role-playing game built around football: you recruit players, develop them, learn special moves, and play matches that follow their own rules rather than the laws of the game.

If you grew up watching the cartoon, this is the series. If you want a realistic football game, EA Sports FC 27 is what you are after and we would rather point you there than sell you the wrong thing.

What you receive

Login details for a PlayStation Network account holding the Standard Edition, emailed once payment clears. Usually five minutes, two hours at the worst. The account covers PS4 and PS5, with no region lock.

Clear 35 GB on the console before you start. That is modest for a current game, so the download will not eat a month of data.

About the online modes

The story campaign plays offline, and it is the bulk of the game. Competitive matches against other players need PlayStation Plus, which is a separate subscription. If you only want the campaign, you can ignore that entirely.

Our PlayStation Plus Essential listing covers it if you do want to play online.

How the account works

Change the password and the sign-in email the first time you log in. That is what puts the account under your sole control, and it takes two minutes.

Then enable console sharing on PS5, or set the console as primary on PS4, and the game runs on your own profile with your trophies and saves intact.

Standard or Deluxe

The Promise Pendant is the only item that changes how the game plays, by speeding up how fast your players gain experience. In a role-playing game of this length that means less grinding, which some people want and others consider the point of the genre.

One thing worth knowing before you choose: Sony sells the Deluxe upgrade separately for $12.99 to anyone who owns the Standard, which is more than the gap between our two listings. So if you think you will want that content eventually, the Deluxe Edition now is the cheaper route. If you are sure you will not, this page is the cheaper purchase outright.

Paying without a credit card

The PlayStation Store wants a card registered in the account’s country. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet you already use, straight from your phone.

We accept MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Wave, M-Pesa, Telecel Cash, AT Money, Free Money, Vodacom, Tigo and Halotel, depending on where you are. Fourteen countries are covered, and PayPal and card payments work everywhere else. Pick your country at checkout and you only see the wallets that work there, with the price in your local currency.
