Why buying it directly is the cheaper route

Sony sells the Deluxe upgrade for $12.99 to anyone who already owns the Standard Edition. That is more than the gap between our two listings.

So if you think you might want the Deluxe content at some point, buying this edition now costs less than buying the Standard Edition and upgrading later. If you are sure you do not want it, the Standard remains the cheaper purchase outright.

The Promise Pendant is the item that actually changes how the game plays. Faster experience means less time grinding and more time on the story, which matters in a role-playing game of this length.

Not a football simulation

Inazuma Eleven is a role-playing game built around football. You recruit players, develop them and learn special moves, and the matches follow the series’ own logic rather than the laws of the game.

If you remember the cartoon, this is that series. If you want realistic football, EA Sports FC 27 is the right page.

What you receive

Login details for a PlayStation Network account holding the Deluxe Edition, emailed once payment clears. Usually five minutes, two hours at the worst. The account covers PS4 and PS5, with no region lock.

Clear 35 GB on the console before you start. That is modest for a current game, so the download will not eat a month of data.

About the online modes

The campaign plays offline, and it is the bulk of the game. Competitive matches against other players need PlayStation Plus, covered by our PlayStation Plus Essential listing.

How the account works

Change the password and the sign-in email the first time you log in. That is what puts the account under your sole control, and it takes two minutes.

Then enable console sharing on PS5, or set the console as primary on PS4, and the game runs on your own profile with your trophies and saves intact.
