Why this card exists
Sony runs no PlayStation Store for most countries in sub-Saharan Africa. So players here register their console on a foreign store, and francophone players usually pick France: the interface, the game descriptions and Sony’s own support pages are all in French.
The catch is payment. The French store wants a European card or a French bank account. This gift card gets round that. You buy the code here with mobile money, redeem it on your French account, and the balance lands in your wallet.
Read this before ordering
PlayStation gift cards are locked to one region. A French code redeems on a French account and nowhere else. It will not work on a US or German account, and nothing can convert it afterwards.
Check first: on the console, open Settings, then Users and Accounts, then Account, then Country or Region. If it says France, this is your card. If it says United States, take the US card instead.

France or the United States?
If you are setting up a new account and hesitating, here is the honest comparison. The French store gives you everything in French, prices in euros, and the European release calendar. The US store usually carries a slightly larger catalogue and quotes in dollars.
For most francophone players the French store is the more comfortable choice, and it is the one we are asked for most often from Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.

Paying without a credit card
