Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Access. Access is the whole difference between this edition and Office LTSC 2024 Standard. If you build databases, keep client records, or run reporting tools that sit on Access, this is your edition. Publisher is in no version of Office 2024, since Microsoft retired it.
Why buying once matters here
Microsoft 365 looks cheaper on day one and costs more every year after. It also needs a card that can carry a recurring international charge, which for a lot of people across Africa ends the discussion. You pay for this licence once, from your mobile wallet, and it never asks you for money again.

Supported until October 2029
Microsoft gives Office LTSC 2024 five years of security and stability updates, running to October 2029. That is the longest runway on any Office version you can buy outright today, and it is the main reason to pick it over Office 2021.
What LTSC deliberately leaves out
LTSC stands for Long-Term Servicing Channel, and the feature set is frozen at release. You get five years of security and stability fixes and no new features at all. No Copilot, no real-time co-authoring, none of the cloud extras from Microsoft 365.
That is the trade, and for a lot of people it is the right one. If you want new features as they ship, LTSC is the wrong product and a Microsoft 365 subscription is the right one.
Installation
- Uninstall any older Office version first, or the installation fails.
- Download the suite using the link that comes with your key.
- Open Word, go to Account, enter the product key.
The requirements are modest: a dual-core 1.1 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM, 4 GB of free disk space, on Windows 10 or Windows 11. Message us on WhatsApp if the installer gives you trouble.
Paying without a credit card
This is the part that blocks most of our customers. International platforms want a Visa or Mastercard, and plenty of people across Africa do not have one. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet you already use, straight from your phone.

Only to download and activate. After that it runs offline.
