Crimson Desert Deluxe Edition (Steam Account Global)

What the Deluxe adds

The full game plus ten pieces of equipment, claimed from the Add-Ons menu once you start playing:

• The Kairos Plate set: helm, armour, gloves, boots and cloak
• The Balgran Shield
• The Exclaire horse set: champron, barding, saddle and stirrups

The story, the map and the ending are the same as in the Standard Edition.

Two things we would rather say than let you find out

The Khaled Shield was a pre-order bonus. It was never part of the Deluxe Edition, so nobody can sell it to you with this edition, whatever another listing claims.

And Pearl Abyss does not publish what these ten pieces do in combat, so we are not going to tell you they make the game easier or that they are only for show. What we can tell you is that they are equipment you receive early instead of earning, and that nothing about the story or the world changes. If that appeals, this is the edition for you. If you would rather find your own gear, the Standard gives you the whole game.

Read this before you order

Crimson Desert needs 150 GB free on an SSD. That is the largest download in our catalogue, and on a connection you pay by the gigabyte it is a real cost. Check your drive and your data allowance before you buy.

It also asks a good deal of the hardware. If you are unsure, send us your specifications on WhatsApp and we will give you an honest answer, including when that answer is that it will not run well.

What you receive

Login details for a Steam account holding Crimson Desert Deluxe Edition, emailed once payment clears. Usually five minutes, two hours at the worst. Install Steam, sign in, download.

Being clear about the format: this is an account that holds the game, not a key you add to your existing Steam library. You play from this account. Tell us before ordering if that does not suit you.

What the game is

You play Kliff, who leads the Greymane mercenaries across the continent of Pywel. Combat mixes swordplay with wrestling moves and environmental traversal, and the boss fights against creatures like the Reed Devil expect you to use your crew rather than brute force. Rival factions such as the Black Bears push back as you go.

Outside the main story there is base building, fishing, crafting, and environmental puzzles that open hidden areas in the Abyss. Single player throughout, with no multiplayer mode and no microtransactions.

How the account works

Change the password and the sign-in email the first time you log in. That is what puts the account under your sole control, and it takes two minutes.

Steam Guard can then be moved to your own phone or email address.

Paying without a credit card

Steam wants a card or a payment method tied to a bank. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet you already use, straight from your phone.

We accept MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Wave, M-Pesa, Telecel Cash, AT Money, Free Money, Vodacom, Tigo and Halotel, depending on where you are. Fourteen countries are covered, and PayPal and card payments work everywhere else. Pick your country at checkout and you only see the wallets that work there, with the price in your local currency.
