Crimson Desert Standard Edition (Steam Account Global)

Read this before you order

Crimson Desert needs 150 GB free on an SSD. That is the largest download in our catalogue, and on a connection you pay by the gigabyte it is a real cost. Check your drive and your data allowance before you buy.

It also asks a good deal of the hardware. The requirements are below. If you are unsure, send us your specifications on WhatsApp and we will give you an honest answer, including when that answer is that it will not run well.

What you receive

Login details for a Steam account holding Crimson Desert Standard Edition, emailed once payment clears. Usually five minutes, two hours at the worst. Install Steam, sign in, download.

Being clear about the format: this is an account that holds the game, not a key you add to your existing Steam library. You play Crimson Desert from this account. Tell us before ordering if that does not suit you.

What the game is

You play Kliff, who leads the Greymane mercenaries across the continent of Pywel. Combat mixes swordplay with wrestling moves and environmental traversal, and the boss fights against creatures like the Reed Devil expect you to use your crew rather than brute force. Rival factions such as the Black Bears push back as you go.

Outside the main story there is base building, fishing, crafting, and environmental puzzles that open hidden areas in the Abyss. Pearl Abyss built it on their BlackSpace engine, which is where the look comes from and also why it is heavy.

No subscription, nothing recurring

Single player throughout, with no multiplayer mode and no microtransactions. The price on this page is the whole cost. Steam needs a connection to download and activate the game, and after that you play on your own.

How the account works

Change the password and the sign-in email the first time you log in. That is what puts the account under your sole control, and it takes two minutes.

Steam Guard can then be moved to your own phone or email address.

Standard or Deluxe

The Deluxe Edition adds ten pieces of equipment, claimed from the Add-Ons menu once you start. The game, the story, the map and the ending are identical.

The Khaled Shield row is there because it comes up. That shield was a pre-order bonus and never part of the Deluxe Edition, whatever a listing elsewhere might suggest.

So the question is whether a plate set, a shield and a horse set are worth the difference to you. If you want them, the Deluxe Edition is the page you want. If you are here for the game, this one gives you all of it.

Paying without a credit card

Steam wants a card or a payment method tied to a bank. Here the payment goes through the mobile wallet you already use, straight from your phone.

We accept MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, Moov Money, Wave, M-Pesa, Telecel Cash, AT Money, Free Money, Vodacom, Tigo and Halotel, depending on where you are. Fourteen countries are covered, and PayPal and card payments work everywhere else. Pick your country at checkout and you only see the wallets that work there, with the price in your local currency.
